Yesterday was my 24th birthday! I can't believe how old I'm getting! I had a great day that started VERY early. My sweet husband woke me up at about 6:30 and had made breakfast (with the help of my Mom). We ate so early because my Mom had to go to work. Then the big surprise came. Ben came into the kitchen with a gift for me and said it was from him and my parents. It was a camera! I was very excited (sorry, no pictures. 6:30 am is not the time for photo taking).
Next, we got ready for the day and went to Orem. Ben had to work so I just decided to do a little shopping :) After that, we headed to Salt Lake to meet up with Dave, Jenny, and My Parents for dinner. We went to the Melting Pot. None of us had ever been there before so ordering was quite the adventure and took forever!
However, it was all worth it. The food was AMAZING! We had the 4 course meal so we had plenty of time to chat throughout the whole thing. We were there for 2 hours and 40 minutes! My least favorite part of dinner was the 5 minutes that I got to hear about how disappointed Dave and Jenny have been in my blogging abilities lately. Can you say tough love? It's okay, it was well deserved, I have been quite the slacker lately. Anyway, I had a great time with some of my family and friends!The Girls

Wow, you have moved beyond the mighty 23. What a good year that was for me. Here is to hoping that 24 finds you in better than 24th place.
