Hanging out in Utah

Ben and I have decided that it would have been a much better idea for us to live in Utah and have him drive up to Rexburg once a week to do the training he is in charge of. Needless to say, we spend a lot of time in Utah. This week was an especially fun filled one for me. You see Ben goes to work in Orem every day and I get to hang out with anyone I want! Here was the line up for this week.

First, I got in contact with a high school/Dance Company friend, Blakelee, whom I haven't seen for a few years. It just so happened that she was teaching a dance to the Dance Company on the day we planned to hang out so I also got to see my former dance director, Stacy, and went down memory lane for a while. Then, we met up with our husbands for some dinner at Wingers. The boys were VERY good sports to just sit there and let us girls talk and talk and talk.

I also got to hang out with my Grandma, sister, and nieces quite a bit. Grandma comes from Italy so we try and go somewhere Italian for lunch/shopping when I'm down here. This time we hit 2 places! Caputo's and Mediterranean Marketplace were our destinations. Here we are at Mediterranean where they make the best paninis I've ever had. Finally, I got to attend Disney on Ice! I've never been before and I really liked it. My cousin had 3 tickets left over and called my sister thinking she, her husband, and daughter would like to go. Lucky me, her husband was out of town and I was with her when she got the phone call so I don't know if it was a pity invite, but even if it was, I'll take it! Ben was pleased to know I got my fix without him having to attend with me :) Well, we're here for about another week and then back to the frigid temperatures in Rexburg!

Maybe you guys should get an apartment in Tremonton....that way you aren't too far from Rexburg or Orem but you can have your friend fix by going over to Dave and Jenny's. Sorry Rexburg was a bust. If it is worse than Rupert.....I feel really bad for you. : ) At least it should start warming up soon!!
