Easter 2010

Ben and I were really excited when we realized we were going to be able to spend Easter with our families this year! Then, Ben's worked changed that a little bit. He was asked to go to Canada for a week to help with some things up there, so although my Easter was filled with family and food, Ben's was not :( A few days ago I colored some Easter eggs with my sister and niece

I also decided to attempt my Grandma's Easter bread recipe and do a braided loaf with colored eggs in it...

Let's just say it looked better before it was baked...so I didn't take an after picture. It got pretty huge by the time it was done. I did however figure out what I should have done differently and I'm sure I will perfect it for next year :)

Then, today we had the whole family over at my parents' house (except Ben of course) to eat, watch conference, eat, have a mini Easter egg hunt indoors, eat, and eat. We had SO much food, but who can complain about that?

It was a really good day hanging out with the family although I missed my Ben.

On a side note, Ben will be returning from Canada in 3 days after which we will head to Rexburg, pack, and get ready to move for our summer adventure. We will be going to St. Louis, Missouri this year and I am VERY excited! I have a cousin that lives there and I think she's a little excited too! The thing I'm not excited for is packing and moving :( However, it's not like we haven't done it before, right?
