Family, Friends, Fun, and Food!

So, I'm a HORRIBLE blogger! I knew this wouldn't be for me, but I'm going to try to become better at it. I'd like to blame it on lack of time, but let's be honest. You make time for things that you want to make time for, right? So, here we go! This weekend was an absolute blast! Ben and I were able to participate in some very fun things... First of all, Ben's brother, Dave, came up from Ogden on New Year's Day to go sledding! We went to Old Main and it was SO much fun! Buddy had so much fun running up and down the snow packed hill and would follow us wherever we went. He did get to ride down the hill on a tube a few times (on someone's lap of course), but he would much rather run his little heart out. He was slipping all over since the snow was so slippery, but he didn't mind at all! Before we left, Dave decided he was going to go off a KILLER jump on his tube and I wanted to film it. I went to grab the camera and as luck would have it, the batteries were completely dead! I was so bummed, but we took one with Jenny's camera when we got back.

Dave, Jenny, Buddy, Jen, and Ben (oh, and Harry and Lloyd) If you'll notice Dave's face (better picture below), he had a fight with the ice...and lost. The second time he went off the jump, he had a perfect landing, but his face slammed on the ground. So, the next day begins the food portion of the blog. We went to get some Sushi rolls for lunch before Dave went back home and it was SO GOOD! The most interesting one was called Man On Fire. On the menu it said "seved with real fire" and for some reason I was thinking it was some type of sauce, but nope. They meant real fire! Those Asians really know what they're doing when it comes to food!

Next on the list...Body Worlds 3. Unfortunately photography was not allowed so I don't have any pictures that I took, but I did find one on the internet to show. It was really neat to see everything that was there and learn about the fascinating art of plastination. My whole family was able to go and see the exibit and we all had such a great time!

After the exibit, we were all VERY hungry, so to keep the Asian theme going, we went to Asian Star and met my Grandparents. If you haven't experienced the delicate cuisine of Asian Star, I would highly recommend giving it a whirl. Grandma & Grandpa Arko listening to Britlee (my niece) sing a song

Dude why does your blog not update on my little list??? It never told me that you updated, and you were like half way down the list, what the? Sledding down Old Main...you guys are brave, I would be very afraid. I love the Asian Star, that's where I first had lettuce wraps..yum. I'm so sad I didn't get to see you at Christmas, but it looks like you had a good one. And here is the website for the background http://sjhblogdesign.blogspot.com/ but you really don't need it, you just need to upload the pages that you want to photobucket, then take the direct link and put in inbetween the parentheses where your other pages were, does that even make sense? Well once you look at it you'll know what I mean you don't have to copy and paste the thing over again. Ok if you are totally confused call me. PS I miss you're face real bad. And so does Roxie.
