Our first Visitors!

Dave and Jenny were our first visitors in Baltimore! They decided to use Dave amazing flight benefits to come out and catch a Yankees game in their new HUGE stadium. I know the Yankees Stadium isn't in Baltimore, but I'll get to the Baltimore part later. They flew into New Jersey on Saturday and drove into New York City and Ben and I took the drive that night to meet them. We stayed in the Warwick Hotel, which was very nice and woke up early the next day to see all the sights.

We started off with breakfast in this cute little cafe and then took a stroll down to Central Park. Oh yes and we bought some "umbula's" from some guy on the street just saying umbula over and over again. Once we finally understood what he was trying to say, we were down for some rain gear!

Then the boys just HAD to have a black and white cookie, which they shared like all good boys do :)

I'm usually not a huge fan of the rain, but we tried to make the best of it

We then moved on to Times Square and saw the Manhattan temple on our way

And finally...the main event...the Yankees game!

That's twice that they have travelled across the country by plane to see a baseball game and the game has be cancelled due to rain...dang it! Well, let's look on the bright side, that means they have to come out again for another game :)

So after the disappointment, we occupied the time with sight seeing and finally headed back to Baltimore! For the next few days we just relaxed and hung out like old times. We also had the pleasure of going to a Mexican restaurant on Cinco de Mayo!

YUMMY! Well, to make a long story short, we LOVED having the McConnel's come out for a visit and can't wait until they come out for another ball game...or not!
