So, Saturday afternoon, Buddy and I left for Bear Lake. When we arrived, the group decided to take the boat out for a spin. As we were walking out on the beach, I was sure Buddy would stop right when he felt water on his feet (he hates baths, pools, and water in general), but he kept trotting along like nothing was wrong.
After the water started touching his neck and waves were coming in, he decided that was as far as he was going to go by himself. I picked him up and carried him the rest of the way to the boat. At first, he was a little unsure about it, but it didn't take long before he was sniffing the wind and enjoying the ride. Dave was an awesome boat driver (or whatever that's called) even though it was his first time!
The next day, Cody and Bailey (Jenny's brother and his wife) came up to join the adventure.
After the two couples had their turns tubing together it was my turn. Since my Mr. wasn't there, someone suggested that I go on the tube with Buddy and we just had to try it. I was sure he was going to hate it, but he didn't seem to mind it at all! The boat was barely moving, but still, pretty good for a dog who hates water.
And...I got up on a wakeboard!!! I haven't even attempted to wakeboard for about 10 years and I was sure I had forgotten how, but with a little coaching from the friends, I got up! Too bad Ben wasn't there to see it :(
Thanks to all my Logan friends and especially Dave and Jenny for the great weekend! I had so much fun hanging out with you guys and can't wait for next summer :)
